The People and Heart Behind the Exhibition

We’re a group of Hong Kongers who now call South Delta home. Since 2022, we’ve been finding ways to connect, support one another, and contribute to the community around us. Between Two Shores grew from these connections and a love of creativity.

As Phoebe Yeung got to know more people in the neighbourhood, she was struck by the creativity and talent around her. She wanted to share it with others, and Between Two Shores grew from that wish.

A work of art is more than something to look at. It can hold memories, feelings, reflections, and a way of seeing the world. When creators share their work, they also share something of themselves.

The exhibition is also an invitation to connect with one another. Art can give people a reason to pause, talk, and listen—to share something about their lives and take an interest in someone else’s. We hope these moments of real exchange bring a little more warmth and care into the life we share in South Delta.
