Born in Hong Kong in 2012, Elvin enjoys expressing his creativity and feelings through drawing and painting. He hopes to become an art therapist one day, using art to help and support others.
Away from his artwork, Elvin enjoys video games, time with friends and family, and being outdoors in nature. He’s also a Manchester United and Portugal fan! One of his dreams is to visit Manchester with his friends and watch United play in person.

Series of Four Drawings
Three years ago, I left Hong Kong and began a new chapter in Vancouver, Canada. The striking differences between these two cities inspired me to choose “City” as the theme of my drawings. From Hong Kong’s towering skyline to Vancouver’s buildings surrounded by nature, each place has its own character and rhythm. Through my artwork, I explore these contrasts while connecting my memories of Hong Kong with my experiences in the city I now call home.
三年前，我離開香港，在加拿大溫哥華展開了人生的新篇章。這兩座城市之間鮮明的差異，啟發我選擇以「城市」作為繪畫主題。從香港高樓林立的天際線，到溫哥華被大自然環繞的建築，每個地方都有獨特的面貌與生活節奏。透過作品，我探索兩座城市的不同，也將對香港的回憶，與如今在溫哥華的生活體驗連結起來。

The night view of Victoria Harbour has always captivated me. Even after three years in Canada, I still remember how beautiful it is. Every light seems to hold a story. The colourful reflections on the water make the city feel alive, even in the darkness. Through this drawing, I hope to capture the beauty of this familiar view and my connection to Hong Kong.
維多利亞港的夜景一直令我著迷。即使在加拿大生活了三年，我仍然記得它的美麗。每一盞燈彷彿都藏著一個故事。水面上繽紛的倒影，讓這座城市即使在黑夜中也充滿生氣。透過這幅畫，我希望呈現這片熟悉風景的美，以及我與香港之間的連繫。

香港城市風景 2 – 獅子山
In this drawing, tall buildings stand beneath Lion Rock. I love how the mountain rises behind the busy city, bringing nature and city life together. The many windows make me imagine the people and stories inside each building. The mountain feels calm and strong above them. This familiar view reminds me of Hong Kong and keeps me connected to the place I came from.
在這幅畫中，高樓矗立在獅子山下。我喜歡獅子山聳立在繁忙城市後方的景象，讓大自然與城市生活融為一體。一扇扇窗戶讓我想像每棟建築裡的人們，以及他們各自的故事。獅子山在高樓之上，顯得平靜而堅定。這片熟悉的風景讓我想起香港，也讓我與成長的地方保持著連繫。

The city view in Vancouver 1- Science World
溫哥華城市風景 1- 科學世界
Science World’s round shape makes it stand out among Vancouver’s buildings. I like how its lights reflect on the calm water, adding warm colours to the evening view. The nearby boats and tall buildings bring different details to the scene. Compared with Hong Kong’s busy skyline, this view feels more open and peaceful to me. It shows another side of city life that I enjoy in Canada.
科學世界的球形外觀，讓它在溫哥華的建築之間格外突出。我喜歡燈光映照在平靜的水面上，為傍晚的景色增添溫暖的色彩。附近的船隻和高樓，也讓畫面有了不同的細節。與香港繁忙的天際線相比，這裡讓我感到更加開闊、寧靜。這片風景呈現了城市生活的另一面，也是我在加拿大喜歡的景象。

Canada Place catches my attention with its white roof shaped like sails. Beside the water, with mountains in the distance, it shows how buildings and nature come together in Vancouver. I like the contrast between the bright roof, blue sky, and calm water. Compared with Hong Kong’s crowded skyline, this scene feels open and relaxed. It is a view I want to capture in my artwork.
加拿大廣場像帆船一樣的白色屋頂吸引了我的目光。它坐落在水邊，遠處是連綿的山脈，展現出溫哥華建築與大自然融合的景象。我喜歡明亮的屋頂、藍天和平靜水面之間的對比。與香港密集的天際線相比，這裡讓我感到開闊而放鬆。這也是我想透過畫作呈現的風景。

Lands in mind
心中之城
In this drawing, I bring Canada and Hong Kong together as two cities floating in the sky. Their buildings look different, but both places are part of my life. I use clouds and different colours to connect them in an imaginary world. Although they are far apart, this drawing lets me see them together and show my connection to both places.
在這幅畫中，我將加拿大和香港化作兩座漂浮在天空中的城市。兩地的建築各有特色，但它們都是我生活的一部分。我用雲朵和不同的色彩，在想像的世界裡將它們連結起來。雖然兩地相隔遙遠，這幅畫讓我能同時看見它們，也表達了我與這兩個地方之間的連繫。
